CEF of Black Hawk with the help of Hope City Church in Waterloo is partnering to reach the children of Waterloo.

This event will have hundreds of people attend and hear the Good News!
​
Please carefully read and follow the instructions below on how you can volunteer to help bring the Good News to the children of the Waterloo area.
Follow the steps below to become a screened volunteer at the Good News Spectacular. Please note because of working with children, we are required and will verify every person volunteering has had a background check with either Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) or Hope City Church

1. If you are a previous CEF volunteer and have done a background screening within the past five years and are an active volunteer, you may skip to step #4
2. If you are a member of Hope City Church and have completed a background screening that we can verify, please skip to step #4
3. If step 1 or 2 does not apply to you, please follow the 4 steps below in order.
Steps to Volunteering at the Waterloo Spectacular
CEF® requires each volunteer to apply and agree to a background screening

Read the Statement of faith and workers compliance agreement
We would like you to know what our core beliefs are and how we all agree to work in unity for the glory of God. You are welcome to download or print these at home, although it is not required. You are not required to sign these documents, however you will be asked in the screening/background check if you read and agree with these documents.

Screening/Background check
Please have your drivers license and social security number ready for the screening/background check. The link below will take you to CEF's® secure website were all of their screening/background checks take place.

There are many places to serve. If you would like to volunteer with work with bounce houses and help in the summer please select that box in addition to the area you would like to volunteer during the big day.
