CEF® has many different ministries, however the core ministries of CEF® are Good News Clubs, and 5-Day Clubs. Here in the Siouxland chapter we have an additional emphasis on our large outreach events called the Good News Spectacular.
It is our goal to share the Gospel with as many children as God will allow. We do that through our different ministries and with partnering with the local church. CEF® has many free resources that can help both the local church and the local CEF® chapter. We have partnered with churches for VBS, Sunday school, and their outreach events. Contact us today to learn how CEF® can partner with you and your local church to reach the children with the Gospel.
GOOD NEWS CLUB
In 2001 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Good News Clubs v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools in the United States after school hours on the same terms as other community groups. Children attend Good News Club only with their parents’ permission.
Good News Clubs meet in a variety of places such as schools, churches, community centers and individual homes once a week and include games, treats and a Bible lesson. Clubs generally run about one hour long and need 2-3 volunteers.
Contact us today to learn how this small commitment can have a lasting impact on a child.
Christian Youth in Action® (CYIA) is a program designed to train a team of teenagers in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. They will attend a one to two week training school where they will learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child's level, counsel a child for salvation and lead a dynamic club ministry for kids.
These are just a few of the ministries CEF® has. In addition to these ministries, CEF® also provides training and many other resources to help equip you and your congregation to take the Gospel outside the four walls of the church.
